DuroDesign makes two types of cork flooring

DuroDesign offers cork flooring in 54 colors and six patterns for an incredible selection and is available in either glue-down cork flooring tiles or cork flooring in floating click-together planks.

Cork flooring tiles are installed much as traditional vinyl or resilient flooring while our clic-together cork flooring are installed like a floating floor over existing floors or for speedy installation.

A uniquely environmentally responsible flooring

Bamboo is a truly sustainable harvested grass that regenerates at least 8 times faster than hardwood. Not only does bamboo mature rapidly but harvesting does not kill the plant. We use only fully mature Moso bamboo which is selected for superior strength and maximum hardness. Bamboo flooring adds uniqueness to your design because it is:

• Silky smooth and finer grained than traditional hardwood
• 2.5 times as dimensionally stable as a solid maple hardwood floor
• 33% harder and more dent-resistant than white oak
• Adds valuable LEED credits towards making your project green

DuroDesign makes two types of bamboo flooring

DuroDesign bamboo flooring is available in 57 colors in either traditional solid strip flooring or extra-wide engineered plank flooring.

Solid strip flooring is installed as traditional hardwood flooring is, while our engineered wide-plank flooring can also be installed as a floating floor or simply for its wide-plank luxurious appeal.

The perfect high-traffic commercial floor

Our strand bamboo is 100% harder and more dent-resistant than red oak. It is a high-density flooring made by fusing bamboo fibers under extreme pressure and rates 2800 psi on the Janka ball test. Strand bamboo is the best defense against high heels in flooring.

Easy installation – no sanding

Our planks are square-edged for the clean flat look of a site-sanded floor without the dust and hassle of site-sanding. Strand bamboo is ideal for radiant floor applications.

• 6'-long planks, 3 ³/₄" wide by ¹⁷/₃₂" thick
• Installed as a glued-down with our low-VOC adhesive
• Installed conventionally nailed-down floor

Stands up to high traffic

We use plantation-grown eucalyptus from sustainable, managed and PEFC-certified European forests. Eucalyptus has a smooth and refined grain with the depth and shimmer of an exotic wood and eucalyptus is 65% harder than white oak.

• Quarter-sawn, fully ³/₄" thick boards for superior dimensional stability
• 3" wide tongue-and-groove boards with an average 43" long
• Installed as a glued-down or conventionally nailed-down floor

Rich and distinctive colors

We have 13 colors of eucalyptus flooring to choose from. We use premium German and Swiss pigments for higher optical definition and color vibrancy with custom coloring available upon request.

Flooring from certified, well-managed forests

DuroDesign uses beautiful Canadian oak and maple from Forest Stewardship Council accredited sources. FSC certification guarantees that DuroDesign maple and oak flooring has been made from environmentally and socially sustainable managed forests.

Strip & wide-plank FSC hardwood floors

Our FSC oak and maple flooring is available as either traditional solid strip flooring or extra-wide 5" plank flooring. Wide-plank maple is our newest product, and features a high-traffic satin UV oil finish for the beauty and richness of a traditional oil finish, but significantly harder.

DuroDesign offers FSC solid maple strip and wide-plank maple flooring. Or look at our FSC solid oak and wide-plank engineered FSC oak flooring to suit any décor.

All our traditional hardwood FSC flooring is pre-finished for enhanced durability and speed of installation by the nail-down or staple-down method. Our engineered wide-plank oak flooring can also be installed as a floating floor or simply for its wide-plank luxurious appeal.
